We are not a reseller. We do not import flat-packs. Every Keith Lomas gate is fabricated on-site in our own Yorkshire workshop, by the same craftsmen who measured it and the same engineers who will install it.

That is also why a bespoke gate from us takes eight to twelve weeks from approved drawings to fitting, never twelve days. You are paying for it to be built and finished properly, and it shows.

Keith Lomas Fabrications has been making and fitting bespoke gates and railings from our workshop in Scholes, Leeds for over twenty years. We are a small, family-run team that takes every project from first sketch to keys-in-hand without ever subcontracting the work that matters.

Gate questions we get asked most

How much does a bespoke electric gate cost?
A pair of electric swing gates for a 3m opening starts at £6,610. Electric sliding gates start at £7,150 and cantilever gates at £7,900, and a wide 4.5m opening runs up to about £9,200. Manual pairs start at £3,200. These are starting prices from our current price list, fitted and including VAT. Your final price is fixed in writing after a free site survey, and the instant quote gives you a guide figure for your own drive in about a minute.
Which areas do you cover?
We are based in Scholes, Leeds and fit gates across Yorkshire, including Leeds, York, Harrogate, Wakefield, Bradford and Wetherby. Surveys and quotes are free. If you are near the edge of that patch, ring 0113 414 1353 and we will tell you straight.
How long does a project take from quote to install?
Most residential gate projects take eight to twelve weeks from approved drawings to installation. Aluminium gates can sometimes be turned around faster; heavily detailed hand-forged wrought iron pieces sometimes run longer. We give you a clear date at the point of quote and we stick to it.
Do you offer finance?
Yes. We offer 0% APR finance over twelve or twenty-four months through Ideal4Finance, with a 50% deposit. Most customers get a decision in minutes and spread the cost without paying any interest.
Do you work outside of Yorkshire?
Our core service area covers Leeds, Harrogate, York, Wetherby, Wakefield, Selby, Skipton and the wider Yorkshire region. We have completed commissions further afield, so always ask if you are on the boundary.
Are you accredited installers for Nice and DEA?
Yes. We are accredited installers for both Nice and DEA automation systems, and every install comes with full compliance documentation.
Is there a warranty on electric gates?
A 4-year warranty is available on electric gates. Ask us for the terms with your quote.
