Every Keith Lomas Fabrications electric gate is bespoke. We measure your driveway, look at the property, draw the gate to suit, and make it in our Leeds workshop using the same techniques we've used for over twenty years. The automation is fitted by our own engineers using Nice and DEA systems, which we're accredited to install and service for the life of the gate.

We also take on commercial work. Cantilever sliding gates, palisade security gates, vehicle barriers and access control schemes for logistics yards, retail parks, schools and industrial sites across Yorkshire. Same workshop, same team, engineered to the duty cycle.

How long does an electric gate project take?
Most domestic projects run eight to twelve weeks from approved design to install, all made in our own Leeds workshop. Every gate is made-to-order, not pulled off a warehouse shelf, so the timeline includes proper design and fabrication for your property. We confirm the install date at quote and stick to it.
Do you handle the groundworks and electrics?
Yes. Our turnkey service includes the foundations, ducting, mains electrical supply and certification at handover. One team, first sketch to keys-in-hand.
What automation system do you use?
We're accredited installers for Nice and DEA, two of the most reliable systems on the market. We'll specify the right motor and control board for your gate weight, how often it gets used, and the look you're going for.
What access control options do I have?
Wireless fobs you keep in the car, video intercoms with a screen inside the house, keypads on the post, GSM units that ring your mobile so you can buzz visitors in from anywhere, and full smartphone app control. For commercial sites we also offer loop detectors and rising barriers.
Is aluminium really strong enough?
Yes. Every aluminium gate we build is reinforced internally, we're not bolting hollow extrusions together. Reinforced aluminium gates last as long as steel and weigh significantly less, which is gentler on the motor and the hinges over the life of the gate.
Do you take on commercial work?
Yes. We build heavy-duty cantilever sliding gates, palisade security gates, vehicle barriers and rising bollards for logistics, retail, education and industrial sites across Yorkshire. Drop us a sketch or the site address and we'll come and survey it.
Is there a warranty?
Yes. Every electric gate comes with a 4-year warranty available, covering the gate, the automation and the access control. We back our work because we're the ones picking up the phone if anything ever needs attention.
